Reynolds Alberta Museum Wedding: Wetaskiwin Farm Wedding

Reynolds Alberta Museum Wedding: Wetaskiwin Farm Wedding

There is a reason why I love photographing friends weddings more than anything else – because I already have the advantage of knowing the way that they are as a couple – and that dynamic is what makes photos really powerful.

Bobby & Justine got married at the Reynolds Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin, but we were still able to make the drive out by the Egert farm for the majority of their formals – in front of a stunning field of Canola!

We had the most wonderful day – from beautiful overcast skies early on to torrential downpours while we drove to the reception venue. I am so excited to share a few of my favourites from their wedding day.

The morning began with Kristina photographing the ladies at an Air BNB just outside of Wetaskiwin. I met the guys later for their “first look” at an airport hanger.

I started the day with their “first look” at the airport hanger! We were waiting for his beautiful bride for a while, so we took some cool Pilot photos.

After their first look, we drove to their ceremony location at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Wetaskiwin.

After their ceremony, we drove by Edberg for some photos overlooking the Egert farms!

After a few photos at the farm, we drove back toward Wetaskiwin, which is when the downpour started. We, of course, had to pull over to try to get a few rain shots. The wind was a bit much for the umbrella, but we got a few raindrops!

I was in love with their head table backdrop – it was the view of the museum in the background!
