AMY MOEDT I EDMONTON WEDDING & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

My husband, Ryan, and I have been married for 10 years! We have 4 amazing kids (Brynn, Callum, August & Micah), and are both doing the jobs that we love (which is very rare, and we are very thankful for that)! I have been a full-time wedding photographer since the year that we got married in 2014, and if anything my love for photography as grown! I am obsessed with creating photographic art for people's homes. 

MY STYLE:

I love to direct my couples during formals so that they feel as comfortable and beautiful on their wedding day as possible – because let’s be honest – nobody knows what to do with their hands.

MY BIO:

Let’s fast-forward through my boring (but necessary) qualifications. Straight out of high school I attended the University of Lethbridge where I completed my B.F.A with a focus in photography. During that time, I took in as much as I could while second shooting weddings in the summer, and photographing sports year round (the main reason why I’m so quick on the draw – literally – I have a camera belt that looks like a holster). Immediately after graduating (in 2012) I worked as a graphic designer while also starting RedTree Photography. It took me 2 years of hustling before I could make the leap to pursue my photography full time, and I've never looked back!

FUN FACTS:

I have photographed hundreds of weddings & families, and I have NEVER lost files. Why? Because I take care to create 4 backups from everything I photograph - starting with my dual card slots in each of my cameras!
