Eva & Irvin’s Modern Elopement at the Art Gallery of Alberta
Megan had the absolute joy of photographing Eva & Irvin’s intimate elopement, and it was everything we love about a wedding day—intentional, meaningful, and beautifully simple.
The Art Gallery of Alberta is one of those locations that never stops inspiring us. Its striking architecture, soft natural light, and modern lines create such a unique atmosphere. It feels both artistic and timeless, which makes it the perfect backdrop for couples who want something a little different for their day.
Eva & Irvin embraced that effortlessly. Their elopement was focused on what truly matters—celebrating their commitment in a way that felt authentic to them. No pressure, no distractions—just the two of them, surrounded by beautiful design and quiet moments that made the day feel incredibly special.
Megan captured it all so beautifully, from the subtle in-between moments to the way the light wrapped around them as they moved through the space. These are the kinds of days that remind us why we love elopements so much—they allow for connection, creativity, and a story that feels deeply personal.
We will never get tired of photographing weddings at the Art Gallery of Alberta. It’s truly one of Edmonton’s most stunning locations, and Eva & Irvin’s day was the perfect example of why.
