A Beautiful Morning Family Session at Whitemud Creek Bridge: Fox Drive Area
I had the pleasure of meeting Ullas & Preeti for their family session at the Whitemud Creek Bridge on one of those unexpectedly perfect mornings. It was 8 degrees, which is pretty incredible for this time of year in Edmonton, and it made for such a comfortable, relaxed session right from the start.
This session was especially meaningful because Ullas & Preeti’s family is being featured in Southwest Living Magazine, and I always love getting to meet the feature families each month. There’s something extra special about photographing families during a season of life that’s being celebrated and shared with the community.
Whitemud Creek is one of my favourite locations for family photos in southwest Edmonton. The bridge, the winding trails, and the natural greenery create such a timeless backdrop, especially in the soft morning light. It’s peaceful, quiet, and perfect for kids to explore a little while we capture genuine moments together.
And speaking of the kids — how cute are they? Full of personality, sweet connections, and those natural smiles that make my job easy. Sessions like this never feel forced; they feel like a family simply being themselves while I document it all.
This morning was such a lovely reminder of why I adore family photography and why Whitemud Creek continues to be one of my go-to spots for Edmonton family sessions. Congratulations to Ullas & Preeti on their Southwest Living Magazine feature — it was truly a joy photographing your beautiful family.
