A Beautiful Summer Wedding in Vegreville: Edmonton Photographers

Tamelle and Brent’s wedding day was full of meaning, love, and beautiful Alberta light. Although I (Amy) wasn’t there in person, my talented associate photographer Kristina captured every moment with so much care—and came back gushing about the emotion and beauty of their day.

The morning started at Vegreville Suites, where Tamelle was surrounded by her closest friends—ten of them crammed into the hotel room, sipping coffee and helping with last-minute details. Her gown, from Bridal Debut (@bridaldebut), hung delicately near the window, while the final touches of her makeup by Kayla Charuk (@kaylacharuk.makeup) brought the whole bridal look together.

Before heading to the church, Tamelle shared a tearful and meaningful first look with her parents and brother—a quiet pause that meant everything.

Meanwhile, Brent was getting ready at the ceremony location, where his mom helped him pin on his boutonniere. He wore a classic suit from Eddies Menswear (@eddiesmens), and his groomsmen, dressed by Moores, looked just as sharp.

The ceremony took place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Vegreville. A full Catholic mass, led by Father Chad, brought a deep sense of reverence to the day. As Tamelle walked down the aisle, time seemed to slow. There was something so sacred about the moment—anchored in tradition, love, and faith.

After the ceremony and family portraits at the church, the wedding party jumped on a bus and made their way to a family farm near Mundare, owned by Brent’s uncle. It was the perfect spot for group photos and some quiet, romantic time for Tamelle and Brent to simply be together. Prairie skies, tall grass, and the softest golden light gave everything a warm, cinematic glow.

Tamelle’s bouquet, created by M-K’s Bouquets (@mksbouquets), added just the right amount of texture and romance. Her bridesmaids—also in dresses from Bridal Debut—were graceful and glowing in soft blush tones.

Back in town, the reception took place at the Vegreville Social Centre, where the celebration truly began. Guests were welcomed into a space beautifully styled by Esteem Wedding & Event Rentals (@esteem.rentals), followed by a delicious meal served by Farmhouse Catering Co (@farmhousecateringco).

The evening unfolded with emotional speeches, lots of laughter, and the kind of energy that fills a room when two people are deeply loved. Instead of a cake, Tamelle and Brent chose to focus on what mattered most—celebrating with the people who had stood by them on the journey.

Mystica Entertainment (@mysticayeg) brought the music and kept the dance floor full, starting with the couple’s first dance—an unforgettable moment filled with tenderness and joy.
