A Romantic Fall Wedding at Edmonton Country Club | Abi & Zach

I had the absolute joy of photographing Abi & Zach’s wedding day, and it was nothing short of magical. From the cozy charm of the Matterra Hotel on Whyte Ave to portraits in the golden fall light of Whitemud Park, every moment of their day felt intentional, heartfelt, and filled with joy.

Getting Ready at Matterra Hotel on Whyte Ave

Abi began her morning surrounded by her bridesmaids at the stylish Matterra Hotel in Edmonton’s Whyte Avenue district. It was the perfect spot for a calm and elegant start to the day. Abi wore her breathtaking gown from Novelle Bridal, and the bridesmaids glowed in dresses from David’s Bridal. With Glam by Shiny taking care of hair and makeup, Abi looked radiant from morning to night.

The men got ready in sharp looks as well — the groomsmen in Tip Top Tailors suits and Zach himself in a custom outfit from Indochino, setting the tone for a classic, timeless style.

Portraits in Whitemud Park

Once ready, we headed into the heart of fall at Whitemud Park in Edmonton for their wedding portraits. The autumn colours were showing off in full glory, with golden leaves creating the perfect romantic backdrop. This natural setting offered a beautiful contrast to the elegance of Abi’s gown and the bridal party’s attire, and it’s always one of my favourite Edmonton locations for wedding photos.

The Ceremony & Reception at Edmonton Country Club

The celebration continued at the Edmonton Country Club, a stunning venue with elegant spaces and beautiful views that were perfect for this fall wedding. The ceremony, officiated by Kerry Yao with All Seasons Wedding, was heartfelt and full of joy.

The reception décor and florals were lovingly put together by family friend Bonnie Ketter, making the space feel intimate and personal. Dinner was catered by the Edmonton Country Club, and it was a feast that guests raved about throughout the evening. The wedding cake, crafted by Wild Rose, was the perfect finishing touch to a celebration filled with sweetness.

A Personal Touch

What stood out most about Abi & Zach’s wedding day was the way family and friends came together to make it so special. From the flowers to the décor, many details were created with love by people close to them, adding an extra layer of meaning to the celebration.
