Megan recently met up with Adria and Martin for an engagement session that was a little different from the usual — they chose to have their photos taken right in their own home. They wanted their session to feel relaxed, natural, and lifestyle-focused, capturing the kinds of everyday moments that reflect who they are together.

There’s something really special about photographing couples in spaces that are meaningful to them. An at-home engagement session allows for a slower, more comfortable atmosphere where couples can simply be themselves. Whether it’s sitting together on the couch, sharing a quiet moment in the kitchen, or laughing together in their own space, those moments always feel incredibly genuine.

We love when couples incorporate personal locations into their engagement sessions. It adds another layer of story and meaning to the photos, making them feel even more authentic to this season of their lives.

Adria and Martin’s home created the perfect backdrop for a cozy and intimate session, and Megan did such a beautiful job capturing their connection in a way that felt true to them. We’re so glad they chose something a little different for their engagement photos.
