What an unforgettable week it was celebrating Danielle & Kenny’s destination wedding at the stunning Grand Palladium Colonial in Mexico! Now that we’ve been home in Edmonton for a week, I’ve had time to reflect on their incredible day — and I’m so excited to finally share a glimpse of it with you.

From the very beginning, Danielle & Kenny’s wedding was filled with laughter, joy, and heartfelt moments shared with the people who mean the most to them. Their family and friends brought such amazing energy to the day — even in the warm tropical sun, everyone was smiling and soaking up every moment together.

One of my favourite parts of this celebration was how relaxed and fun the entire day felt. After the ceremony, instead of a traditional reception and dance, we all ended up cooling off in the adult pool — the perfect ending to a beautiful destination wedding! It was such a genuine reflection of who they are as a couple: laid-back, joyful, and completely in the moment.

As a destination wedding photographer based in Edmonton, I absolutely love traveling to capture stories like this. There’s something magical about photographing a couple’s day in a tropical setting — the soft ocean breeze, the vibrant light, and the relaxed atmosphere make every image come alive with warmth and emotion.
