I had everything booked: My flight into Abbotsford, my rental car, & hotel. An hour before I was supposed to leave, my flight was cancelled, and I spent hours at the airport trying to figure out a new way to get to Fraser River Lodge for Yasaman & Anton’s Wedding. I managed to jump on a plane to Vancouver, where they were out of rental cars – and I made some Uber car driver very happy by booking a 2 hour ride to the venue.

After all of that, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. We had an incredible day, and I can’t wait to share some favourites from their day.

I met Yasaman & Anton at a wedding showcase at the Fairmont Macdonald pre-pandemic, and we photographed their engagement session on the hotel grounds. After that, they decided to book me for their wedding in BC! These two are living in the UK now, so it was lovely being able to reconnect (after 2 postponements – thanks Covid).
