Golden Light Engagement Session at Our Acreage | Mckenna & Jon

There’s something so special about photographing engagement sessions at our acreage just outside of Edmonton. Last week, I had the joy of capturing Mckenna and Jon’s engagement photos, and the evening could not have been more perfect. The light was soft and golden, streaming through the trees and creating that dreamy glow that makes outdoor photography magical.

What made this session even sweeter was that Mckenna and Jon brought along their two pups. Including pets in engagement sessions always adds such a personal and meaningful touch — it felt just as much like a family session as it did an engagement session. The love they share for each other, and for their dogs, shone through in every moment.

Mckenna and Jon are such a kind and easygoing couple, and photographing them was an absolute joy. The mix of laughter, snuggles, and playful moments with their dogs made this session so genuine and heartwarming. These images truly reflect who they are together, and I’m so excited to share a glimpse into this beautiful evening.
