I teamed up with @katebackdrops again — this time using their Kate Candle Green Plant Book Room Backdrop for something truly magical!

These are author headshots for Alexis Veenendaal, who writes cozy fantasy — and this backdrop was perfect for the warm, whimsical vibe she was going for. It feels like stepping into an enchanted reading nook tucked inside a storybook, with soft candlelight, greenery, and shelves full of books.

We even brought out the fake smoke to complete the dreamy feel, and I am in love with how everything came together!

Alexis will also be featured in SouthWest Living Magazine this fall — so proud of her and can’t wait for everyone to see more of her work!
