Megan wrapped up a full and beautiful day of engagement sessions with Mercedes and Shawn at the iconic Muttart Conservatory—and it was the perfect way to end the day.

The Muttart Conservatory is one of our absolute favourite locations for engagement photos in Edmonton, and not just for what’s inside. The surrounding grounds offer such a unique and modern backdrop, with the striking glass pyramids creating beautiful lines, reflections, and a clean, architectural feel that photographs so well in any season.

Mercedes and Shawn were incredibly easy to photograph. They brought such a relaxed, romantic energy to the session, making it effortless to capture genuine connection and candid moments throughout the evening. Sessions like this always feel so natural, and it truly shows in the final images.

The outdoor space around the conservatory gave us so much variety to work with—from open skies to the geometric beauty of the pyramids. It’s one of those locations that feels both timeless and a little bit different, which we absolutely love for engagement sessions.

Ending the day here, with such a wonderful couple and such a stunning location, was the perfect way to wrap up a full day of shooting. We can’t wait to share more from Mercedes and Shawn’s engagement session at the Muttart Conservatory!
