City Hall Couple Photos: Christelle + Taab’s Beautiful Session

Megan met up with Christelle and Taab at City Hall for a beautiful couple session, and it was one of those shoots that reminds me just how much I love this location.

City Hall is such an underrated gem for photos. The architecture alone makes it stand out — clean lines, soft tones, and a design that feels both modern and timeless. It has this incredible ability to feel grand without being overwhelming, which creates such a natural, relaxed environment for couples.

One of my favourite things about shooting at City Hall is the light. No matter the time of day, there are pockets of soft, flattering light that make everything feel a little more romantic. It’s the kind of place where you don’t have to try too hard — the setting does so much of the work for you.

Christelle and Taab were so easy to photograph. They slipped into the session effortlessly, which made it possible to capture those genuine, in-between moments that I’m always drawn to. The combination of their connection and the beauty of City Hall made this session feel simple in the best way.

If you’re considering a location for your engagement or couple photos, City Hall is always one I’ll recommend. It’s unique, it’s beautiful, and it photographs incredibly well in every season.

I’m already looking forward to the next time we get to shoot there.
