There is something so special about welcoming a new family onto the acreage, especially when they are beginning a brand-new chapter in a new province. I recently had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Monika, Gordon, and their adorable family after their move from BC to Alberta.

I couldn’t have been happier to have them in front of my camera and to celebrate this exciting new season of life with some beautiful fall family photos near Sherwood Park.

A New Chapter in Alberta

Moving from BC to Alberta is a big change, and I love that their family photos could become part of the memories they are making as they settle into their new home.

The acreage provides such a beautiful setting for family photography, with open fields, natural greenery, wildflowers, and plenty of space for kids to simply be themselves. Rather than feeling like a traditional posed photo session, I love letting families interact, explore, play, and enjoy their time together while I capture all of those genuine moments.
