One of my favourite parts of photographing families and entrepreneurs for Southwest Living Magazine is getting to meet the incredible people behind local Edmonton businesses.

This time, I had the pleasure of meeting Ana, the owner of Utopia Play Cafe!

It was such a fun evening getting to know Ana and capturing photos that show a little bit of the person behind her business. As a photographer, I love when a session feels relaxed and genuine, and this evening gave us exactly that.

We were lucky enough to have the most beautiful evening light for this session. There is something about that warm, soft glow that makes outdoor portraits feel especially magical.

I love photographing families and local entrepreneurs using natural light because every session looks a little different. The time of day, weather, season and location all work together to create images that feel authentic to that particular moment.
