Chilly Fall Family Photos in Sherwood Park
Chilly Fall Family Photos in Sherwood Park
There’s something pretty special about fall family photos in Alberta, even when the morning starts out a little colder than expected. My second time photographing Kaetlyn’s family was one of those beautifully chilly mornings, but the scenery more than made up for the temperature.
The wildflowers over by the field have been especially beautiful this year, and I loved having them as the backdrop for their Sherwood Park family photography session. There’s something about photographing families surrounded by tall grasses, wildflowers and the natural Alberta landscape that makes everything feel relaxed and timeless.
Thankfully, we even had a little bit of sunshine peek through toward the end of their session, which was such a treat. I’m always happy when we get those little pockets of light during a session, especially in the fall when the weather can change so quickly.
One of my favourite parts of photographing families year after year is getting to know the kids a little better. And I absolutely love Marc’s millions of questions! He has so much curiosity and personality, and it makes spending time with this family so much fun. Those little conversations and candid moments are exactly the kinds of things I love capturing during family sessions.
While the temperatures are starting to drop, there is still so much beauty around Sherwood Park for fall family photos. The fields, wildflowers and changing landscape create such a beautiful setting for natural, candid family photography.
If you’re looking for a Sherwood Park family photographer for fall photos, I’d love to capture your family just as you are right now. These seasons with our kids go by so quickly, and I think the photos that preserve their personalities, relationships and little quirks are some of the most meaningful ones we can have.
Fall family photography sessions are available around Sherwood Park and the surrounding Edmonton area, including my acreage location just outside Sherwood Park.
