Andrea and Brody’s wedding day at Free Spirit Ranch was everything you hope a wedding will be—calm, joyful, intentional, and effortlessly beautiful from beginning to end. As an Alberta wedding photographer, getting to experience a new venue is always exciting, and this one did not disappoint.
I spent the morning with Andrea during the getting ready portion of the day, and it was the perfect way to begin. The atmosphere was relaxed but filled with anticipation—those quiet, meaningful moments that often end up being some of the most memorable. From slipping into her Stella York gown to the final touches of hair and makeup, everything came together so seamlessly.
After the morning, Megan took over photography coverage and documented the rest of their wedding day. Having the ability to serve our couples in this way—ensuring their entire day is captured with care—is something I never take for granted. Andrea and Brody’s day unfolded beautifully, and we are so grateful we could be part of it.
This was also our first time photographing a wedding at Free Spirit Ranch, and it left such an impression. A huge thank you to Renee Putnam, who went above and beyond—not only running a smooth, organized day but even reaching out that morning to share the best photo locations on the property. That level of care makes such a difference and truly elevates the entire experience.
