Elegant Fall Wedding at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald | Edmonton Room Ceremony

There’s something timeless about a fall wedding at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald — and Rae & Dennis’s intimate celebration in the Edmonton Room was the perfect example of that. I photographed their wedding just over a week ago, and I’m still thinking about how beautifully personal their day was.

Their ceremony focused on uniting their families, and every moment felt heartfelt and genuine. Even though I was only with them for a couple of hours, it was so clear how special their love is. We had just fifteen minutes for couple portraits, but between the golden fall light and the stunning architecture of the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, we captured so many beautiful images that I can’t wait to share.

Rae looked radiant in her gown from Ashbury Bridal in Kelowna, and Dennis was sharp in his McDermot’s suit — also from Kelowna. The Edmonton Room was elegantly styled by Exquisite Affairs, and Blush Artistry’s Sarah and Kristen created a soft, romantic hair look that perfectly complemented the fall setting. The day was officiated by Deb Barron, with catering by the talented Hotel Macdonald team and a beautiful cake crafted by Roslyn at Sweet Side.
