Fall Engagement & Maternity Photos at the Sherwood Park Marsh

Met with Kyra & Rob for their engagement and maternity session at one of my favourite Sherwood Park locations — the marsh area — and wow, what a night! It was definitely on the windy (and chilly!) side, but that breeze made Kyra’s dress absolutely magical to photograph. The soft, golden sunset light gave us that dreamy, romantic glow that makes this location so perfect for both maternity and engagement photos.

I love how the marsh in Sherwood Park transforms in the fall — the warm tones, golden grasses, and reflections in the water create the most stunning natural backdrop. Even on breezy evenings, it feels peaceful and intimate, making it one of my go-to spots for couples who want a mix of romance and nature in their photos.

It’s hard to believe that in just one year, I’ll be photographing their wedding in Mexico! This session felt like the perfect preview of what’s ahead for Kyra & Rob — full of connection, laughter, and love.
