Ohaton Hall & Double Dam Golf Course Wedding: Camrose Photographer

This past month, our RedTree Photography associate, Kristina, had the joy of photographing Karessa & Eric’s weddingat two stunning Camrose-area venues: Double Dam Golf Course and Campground for the ceremony and the Ohaton Community Centre (Ohaton Hall) for the reception. These locations created the perfect blend of natural beauty and community charm for their celebration.

The Wedding Day

The day began at Double Dam Golf Course, where Karessa & Eric exchanged vows surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful views of the course and campground. The outdoor setting provided a romantic backdrop, making it a dream spot for anyone planning a wedding ceremony at Double Dam Golf Course.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered at the Ohaton Hall for the reception. Known for its spacious layout and welcoming atmosphere, the Ohaton Community Centre offered the perfect place to dance, laugh, and celebrate late into the night. If you’re considering wedding receptions near Camrose, Ohaton Hall is an ideal venue that combines functionality with small-town warmth.

The Details

Karessa looked stunning in her Martina Liana gown from Hello Beautiful Bridal Boutique in Red Deer. Her bridesmaids wore elegant dresses from Azazi, while the groom and groomsmen wore sleek suits from Mr. Derk in Edmonton.

Her bridal look came together beautifully with hair by Courtney at Roots Hair Company and makeup by Samantha from Coastal Beauty YEG. For the finishing touches, she booked lashes and a spray tan at Cali Beauty Bar.

The couple’s floral arrangements, designed by Melissa Schultz of Fresh Hope Flowers, were timeless and elegant. Décor rentals from Karla at Elegant Event Rentals added sophistication to the spaces, while A-1 Catering provided a delicious meal for guests.

The evening was filled with music and energy thanks to ESound Pro Audio and Lights, keeping the dance floor lively. One of the most sentimental details was the wedding cake, lovingly baked by the groom’s mom.

Guests were welcomed by custom signage and printed details from Staples Camrose, while a personalized last name sign from Engraved Craft Co on Etsy made a beautiful keepsake.

To make it all come together seamlessly, planning was handled personally by the bride—a huge accomplishment given the number of moving pieces involved in such a big day!

A Memorable Celebration

This Double Dam Golf Course wedding with a reception at Ohaton Hall was filled with heartfelt moments, thoughtful details, and so much love from family and friends.

If you’re planning a wedding in the Camrose area, venues like Double Dam Golf Course and Ohaton Community Centre are fantastic choices for couples who want both natural beauty and a welcoming space to celebrate.
