Stephanie & Calvin’s Edmonton Wedding Day | Tea Ceremony, St. Charles Church & Muttart Conservatory Photos
June 17, 2026 was such a special day celebrating Stephanie and Calvin across multiple meaningful locations in Edmonton. From a traditional tea ceremony in the morning to a full wedding day that included getting completely soaked in the rain, this was one of those days you don’t forget.
The day began with a beautiful tea ceremony at their home in Edmonton. It was filled with vibrant colours, meaningful traditions, and some of the most emotional moments of the entire day. These quieter, intentional parts of a wedding always set the tone in such a powerful way.
After a short break, we headed to their ceremony at St. Charles Catholic Church (17511 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB). Their ceremony was heartfelt and surrounded by family and friends. We stayed at the church for family photos immediately following, which made everything smooth and efficient for the rest of the day.
From there, we made our way to formal photos — and this is where things got memorable. What started as a typical photo block quickly turned into a full-on rain session. By the time we reached the Muttart Conservatory, we were completely soaked, but it ended up being one of the best parts of the day. The lush greenery, soft light, and unique atmosphere inside the pyramids created the perfect contrast to the storm outside.
The evening continued at Golden Rice Bowl Restaurant for reception coverage from. The evening included speeches, games, and time spent connecting with guests at each table — a perfect, relaxed way to end such a full day.
One of the most unique parts of Stephanie and Calvin’s wedding experience is that we actually both had the opportunity to photograph different parts of their celebrations. I photographed their full wedding day on June 17, and Kristina captured their reception on June 26, which made it even more special for our team to both be part of their story.
