The Exchange Rooftop Patio Wedding: Edmonton Wedding Photographers

This beautiful Edmonton wedding at The Exchange was a true celebration of love, style, and personal touches. My associate photographer Kristina was the lead shooter for the day, with Karissa as her talented second photographer, ensuring every candid smile and heartfelt moment was perfectly documented. The ceremony took place on the rooftop patio of The Exchange, with the city skyline providing a stunning backdrop for the couple’s vows.

For the ceremony, the bride wore a breathtaking Hayley Paige gown — a fluffy, romantic dream — found at Poppy Consignment. Later, she changed into a reception dress that held deep sentimental value: it was her mom’s, a timeless and elegant choice that made the evening even more special. The bridesmaids looked radiant in dresses from Azazie, each gown complementing the soft romantic tones of the day, while the groomsmen were sharp in tuxedos from Moores. The groom stole the show in his tailored Indochino suit, perfectly fitted for the occasion.

Hair and makeup were beautifully styled by Blush Artistry in Sherwood Park, creating a look that lasted through every tear, laugh, and dance. The bride’s nails were done at Lustry in South Common, and she wore a pearl necklace from her grandmother, adding the perfect sentimental touch to her look. The floral arrangements by Bloom & Borrow were lush and elegant, adding natural beauty to both the rooftop ceremony and the indoor reception. Much of the décor was sourced by the bride herself, with pieces from Bougie on a Budget and Bloom & Borrow, creating a warm, personalized atmosphere that reflected the couple’s style.

The ceremony was officiated by a dear friend, Mary Beth Byrne, making the exchange of vows deeply personal and heartfelt. Guests enjoyed delicious catering from Acapella, followed by a beautiful cake from T-Time Treats in Beaumont that was as stunning as it was delicious. One of the sweetest details of the day was the fact that the maid of honour, Molly, drove the couple around in a rented minivan — a charming and practical twist on wedding transportation. DJ Jordan kept the dance floor full all night, ensuring the celebration continued well into the evening.

From the bride’s heirloom jewelry to the personal touches in every corner, this wedding was a reflection of the couple’s unique love story. Kristina and Karissa captured every moment — the quiet glances, the big laughs, and the pure joy shared by friends and family. If you’re looking for Edmonton wedding photography that captures not only the big, beautiful moments but also the intimate, emotional ones, my associate team brings both artistry and heart to your day.
