Danielle & Mike’s Fun and Colourful Whyte Avenue Engagement Session
Danielle & Mike’s Fun and Colourful Whyte Avenue Engagement Session
Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing Danielle & Mike for their engagement session on Whyte Avenue, and we decided to take a different route than I normally do—just to switch things up! Whyte Avenue is such a vibrant and iconic location, and exploring some new spots really made their session feel fresh and unique.
We were hoping to take a few photos inside Block 1912, but it was bustling with people (great for the business there, of course!), so we made the most of it and captured some beautiful shots outside instead. The streets and colourful storefronts of Whyte Avenue provided the perfect backdrop for their playful and energetic personalities.
I absolutely love these types of engagement sessions—bright, fun, and full of personality. The mix of urban textures, street art, and charming storefronts along Whyte Avenue creates the perfect setting for couples who want something a little different from traditional engagement photos. Danielle & Mike brought so much energy and enthusiasm, and it really shows in every image.
If you’re looking for a unique, colourful, and lively engagement session in Edmonton, Whyte Avenue is such a fantastic location to explore. Whether you’re walking the streets, popping into cafes, or finding hidden corners for photos, there’s endless opportunity to capture something truly special.
