A Sweet Summer Elopement at the Alberta Legislature | Cyndi & Adam

A week ago, Megan photographed the sweetest elopement for Cyndi & Adam at the Alberta Legislature in Edmonton, and we are absolutely in love with their photos.

From the moment you look through their gallery, it’s impossible not to notice how giggly, playful, and completely smitten these two are with each other. Their connection comes through in every image, from the quiet moments to the big smiles and all the little laughs in between.

The Alberta Legislature makes such a beautiful backdrop for an intimate Edmonton elopement. The historic architecture, grand staircases, gardens, and surrounding grounds offer so many opportunities for photos while still allowing the focus to remain exactly where it should be — on the couple.

Megan did such a beautiful job capturing Cyndi & Adam naturally. Rather than everything feeling overly posed, their gallery is filled with genuine expressions and little moments that feel like them. And honestly, we could look at those giggly smiles all day.

That’s one of our favourite things about elopement photography. With a smaller, more intimate wedding day, there is so much room to slow down, enjoy each other, and let those real moments happen naturally. Those are often the photographs that become the most meaningful ones years down the road.
