Last month, Amanda & Evan celebrated their beautiful wedding at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden, and we have been so excited to start sharing some previews from their day. These two are so incredibly cute together, and Kristina’s photos captured their relationship and all of the joy of their wedding day so beautifully.

Kristina was the main photographer for Amanda & Evan’s wedding, with Karissa joining her as a second photographer for part of the day. Having Karissa as part of the team was extra special, and we always love when we get to have her along for a wedding!

A Beautiful University of Alberta Botanic Garden Wedding

The University of Alberta Botanic Garden is one of our favourite places for an Edmonton wedding. The gardens provide such a beautiful combination of lush greenery, colourful flowers, winding pathways, and natural backdrops, making it an incredible setting for wedding portraits.

Amanda & Evan’s day fit the setting perfectly. From their portraits throughout the gardens to the little candid moments between the two of them, there was so much genuine emotion and happiness throughout the day.

We love weddings where the couple can slow down, enjoy their people, and really take in the experience—and Amanda & Evan’s day was filled with those moments.

Amanda’s Maggie Sottero Wedding Dress

Amanda wore The Jerrica by Maggie Sottero, purchased from Novelle Bridal. The dress was such a beautiful choice for her and photographed wonderfully throughout the day. You can also find Novelle Bridal on Instagram at @novellebridal.

Her bridesmaids wore dresses from JJ’s House, which also supplied the groomsmen’s accessories, including their suspenders and bow ties. Follow @jjshouseofficial on Instagram.

For his wedding-day look, Evan wore a custom Joseph Abboud suit from Moores.

Amanda’s wedding-day makeup was done by Makeup By Chelsea & Co., creating a beautiful finished look that complemented her dress and the romantic garden setting.

The Wedding Ceremony

Amanda & Evan’s ceremony was officiated by Weddings by Pat, bringing everyone together to celebrate the beginning of this next chapter for the couple.

Reception Details

The Rings

Amanda’s rings were from Spence Diamonds, while Evan’s ring had an especially meaningful story behind it. His ring was made by Amanda herself at Silver Anvil Rock and Gem, making it a truly personal part of their wedding day.
